Wire is an English band formed in 1976 and originally composed of Colin Newman, Graham Lewis, Bruce Gilbert and Robert Gotobed.
Group which released a first album "Pink flag" in 1977, album which unfortunately will go somewhat unnoticed.
New album "Chairs Missing" a year later in 1978 and a radically different fate as the album became the group's first ranked album. Album which also produced their first single classified with the title “Outdoor miner” which was released in 1979.
It was a big year in 1979 since the album "154" which was also released that year remains to this day the highest ranked album of the group across the Channel.
Big air hole of 8 years before their new album "The ideal copy" was released in 1987, an album with average success but success nonetheless.
This will not be the case with the album "A bell is a cup" in 1988, from which their new single success, namely "Kidney bingos", will be extracted.
Big year 1989 with the release of the album "It's beginning to and back again", album which will be the only success of their entire career in the USA, flagship album from which will be extracted the two flagship singles "Eardrumm buzz" and "In vivo".
Two successes which will be their last single side because everything that will come out subsequently will only be a relative success...
