Little lady loves Japanese boy...

Aneka, real name Mary Sandeman, is a Scottish singer who will stay mainly in the musical history of the 80s thanks to her huge hit "Japanese boy".
Single which came out in 1981 and which will make a real worldwide hit, in particular thanks to the Japanese look of Aneka which gives a particularly kitsch side to the whole.
The same year another single called “Little Lady” was released, a single with much more modest success.
The album "Aneka" from which the 2 singles are extracted was released immediately but did not do much better in terms of success. All the singles that follow will meet the same fate.
To discover or rediscover.

Clips :
1981 ... the title of a lifetime which offers the singer a direct ticket to the musical Pantheon of the 80s. A first title which will undoubtedly remain as one of the biggest dance hits of the beginning of the decade. MAS-TER-FUL !
1981 ... still in 'wacky' mode, the singer offers a sequel that holds up and which above all offers her a 2nd planetary top hit. A decidedly exceptional year 1981 !
1982 ... total change of look and style. A change which unfortunately will not be profitable. Here she signs her latest notorious hit. The public undoubtedly preferred his 'wacky' side ...
1982 ... a complete makeover from the previous year. Unfortunately, it lacks that grain of madness that made all the difference ...
1983 ... it's a good job but far too flat compared to anything the competition can offer, especially across the Channel !
1984 ... return to Asian style with this very astonishing cover of a particularly popular title in Chinese folklore dating from 1940. Wacky to the end Mary !
