Kim Larsen was a Danish singer who will stay in the history of the country as one of the country's artists having sold the most records with no less than 2.5 million albums sold during his career, just that !
A singer who saw his artistic career take off at the end of the 60s when he created the group Gasolin’, a group which will experience its heyday during the 70s.
At the end of the 70s he took his destiny back in hand and took part in the Danish selections for the Eurovision Song Contest with the title "Ud i det blâ", a title which enabled him to take a very honorable 3rd place.
During the 1980s, he had his heyday in France with the title "Donnez-moi du feu", a title which was released in 1981 and which was to be one of the big hits of the year in the country.
He would release a number of albums during his career, the success of which was mainly limited to his country of origin.
Atypical singer who will die of prostate cancer on September 30, 2018 at the age of 72.
