Not much info about Sydney Youngblood other than the fact that he is a German-American singer who will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the enormous title "If only I could" released in 1989.
Single which will literally set fire to every Dancefloor on the planet this year and which will undoubtedly remain as one of the biggest Dance Hits of the 1980s.
As such alone, he deserved this article.
To discover or rediscover.

1988 ... a luxury cover of Bill Withers' cult title from 1971 as an appetizer. A good job but not enough to hope to play on equal terms with the Greats ...
1988 ... a first title, this time original, but above all of quality and which proves that the singer has potential, it is clear. It only remains to find the title that will make all the difference ...
1989 ... the title that will make all the difference, here it is ! The singer delivers here quite simply one of the biggest dance hits of the end of the 80s and fits One Shot into the musical legend of the 80s. MO-NU-MEN-TAL !

Especially when we start again in the luxury covers with this revisited version of the title of Etta James dating from 1968. The cover is of quality but the sanction in the Charts is immediate : direct fall ...

1994 ... an excellent Dance song which unfortunately went completely under the radar. When it doesn't want anymore, it doesn't want anymore. End of the adventure ...
