Frozen faces...

Few interesting information about The Machines apart from the fact that it is a Belgian group originally composed of Paul Despiegelaere, Jan De Vos and Joris Angenon.

Group which will remain mainly in the musical history of this end of the 20th century for the high-caliber single "I miss you" which will be released in 1984.

For this reason alone, we had to devote this article to them.

To discover or rediscover.

Clips :

1980 ... for a first title the sound is already trendy which suggests future great potential achievements. At least we hope so...

1981 ... after it is clear that the sound is not everything. They will also have to find the style that will allow them to stand out from the crowd for a while...

1981... they are working on it anyway. What is certain is that you have to give time to time and that you cannot break through to the highest level as quickly as you would like...

1982... they even do it with finesse, which doesn't spoil anything, quite the contrary. Let's hope their efforts pay off at some point...

1982... they put an obvious good will in what they do but that is not enough for the moment to change the situation unfortunately...

1983...year after year the level rises, it is clear. It is therefore certain that at some point they will succeed in producing THE title that goes well...

1983... it won't be for this one either, but we're getting closer, that's for sure. It remains to find the little extra that will make all the difference...

1984...and paradoxically it's on a piece full of finesse and lightness that they will find this little extra. They sign here what will remain as their most emblematic title and at the same time offer themselves a direct ticket for posterity. HU-GE !

1985...a group with a certain talent but which however will not remain as the best known of its country. What is certain in any case is that he will not have been unworthy, far from it...

1985... they really deserved a much higher recognition than it was but sometimes you shouldn't try to understand as they say...

1987...an adventure that will not go beyond the 80s but that will at least have allowed them to show a side of themselves that they do not have to be ashamed of, far from it !
