Another life...
Kano is an Italian concept-project set up in 1979 in Milan by Luciano Ninzatti, Stefano Pulga and Matteo Bonsanto. Trio which will choose as leader of the group the singer of West Indian origin Glen White.
The group delivered their first big-caliber track at the start of the 1980s with the Single "I'm ready". Title taken from the eponymous album which was released the same year and which will produce other interesting Singles like "It’s a war", "Now baby now" and other "Ahjia".
New album "New-York cake" a year later in 1981, album which produced a first hit with the title "Baby not tonight" but also, and especially "Can’t hold back (Your lovin)". Single which will give the group its first world-class hit.
But it is above all the following album "Another life" and especially the Single bearing the same name that will bring fame and fortune in 1983 to the trio. The Single is a real worldwide hit and will ignite all Dancefloor on the planet that year.
The adventure will go no further but will at least have had the merit of producing one of the most iconic Dance titles of the decade. Isn't that the main thing.
At least that's what we imagined because they will return in a totally unexpected way at the start of the 2020 decade.
